Lake Manyara National Park offers a unique wilderness experience with diverse landscapes: a Rift Valley soda lake, open grasslands, dense woodlands, and stunning mountainsides. Look out for the park's famous tree-climbing lions, long-tusked elephants, Masai giraffes, and herds of buffalo, zebra, and wildebeest. The 20km diameter crater floor boasts one of the highest wildlife concentrations per square meter anywhere. Spot Burchell's zebras, leopards, cheetahs, Cape buffalo, waterbucks, hartebeests, spotted hyenas, savannah elephants, and many more. Note that giraffes are not found in the crater due to the prevalence of short shrubs, which make feeding difficult for them. After a full day, ascend back up the crater rim and return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
