Join us on a road trip and a hike through the Mt Kenya "Kamweti" route. We shall start our hike at the Castle Forest Lodge. The path shall lead us on old elephant pathways through dense rain and bamboo forests.

After a few hours into the hike, we shall find a long spectacular waterfall surrounded by amazing views. The Kamweti Waterfall. Here swimmers can immerse themselves in the very cold water and content creators can enjoy creating content at this very picturesque location. We shall have a photographer to help document your content.

The hike is a flat trail 90% of the time. The steep part is somewhere in the middle of the trail composing of a forest.

This excursion provides great scenery for photographers who are in love with nature, swimmers who aren't afraid of cold water, as well as hikers who enjoy the peace that accompanies quiet times in the woods/wilderness.

WHAT TO WEAR

- Dress warm in hiking/gym wear (avoid jeans) as the area might get cold and rainy. Thick long sleeved top and bottom are advised to avoid the discomfort of stinging nettle and tsetse flies.

- Hiking boots a size bigger than your normal size.

ITEMS TO CARRY

- National ID/Passport

- At least 2 liters water

- Snacks (light lunch, fruits, nuts, energy bar)

- Hiking pole

- Rain poncho

- Handkerchief. It's normal to get a running nose while hiking.

- Sunglasses, sunscreen, sunhat.

- Camera

- Change of clothes and open shoes for after the hike. You shall leave them in the tour van.

- A dress/suit/whatever you fancy (maximum of 2) for a photoshoot at the waterfall.

Remember to cut your toenails short
